Hansraj college has its placement cell, which provides career opportunities to the students of the college. Students can also apply in the placement cell of University of Delhi, which gives an additional career opportunity to the students for making them more career oriented.
Students after completing B.Sc.(H) mathematics can apply for M.Sc. in mathematics, Masters in Computer Applications (MCA), Masters in Business Administra-tion (MBA) and other programmes through JAM (IIT), CAT and Universities receptively.
Mathematics gives a vast area of research in all the subjects such as Algebra, Cryptography, Functional Analysis, Differential Equations, Operational Research, Number Theory, Operator Theory, Fluid Dynamics, Data Mining, Neural Networks and other subjects. Students pursuing masters programme, after the completion of their course can go for research in different subjects as mentioned above.
Students can avail fellowships after clearing NET-JRF, GATE, TIFR and other fellowship programmes . Students can also go for lecturership through NET (National Eligibility Test for Lectureship).
Students can also apply in multiple organisations for various posts like Research Analyst, Algorithmist, Programmer and many others.
